Job summary

CiminoCare, Inc. in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Caregiver - AM On-Call to provide personalized care to residents. You will assist with daily activities, ensure cleanliness, and respond to calls for help.

Responsibilities include maintaining resident dignity, following care plans, documenting changes, and supporting the care team in meals, grooming, and mobility. Some prior caregiving experience and a valid First Aid certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must complete physical examination and tuberculin test within seven days after hire.
• The DSS requires fingerprint cards and criminal conviction affidavit for background check.
• First-AID certification must be current.
• Compassionate elder care skills and ability to care for several residents at once.
• Organizational skills and ability to maintain order under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Know the location and disposition of residents under direct care.
• Keep residents' rooms tidy and beds made.
• Assist with dressing, grooming, and personal care as needed.
• Promptly respond to resident calls for assistance.
• Document changes in resident conditions by end of shift.
• Follow care plans and read posted messages and updates.
• Attend staff meetings and mandatory trainings.
