Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to residents with all activities of daily living including dressing, grooming, peri-care, toileting, and hygiene.
• Speaks to and interacts with residents at all levels of care with empathy and respect.
• Observes and reports to supervisor daily.
• Serves and assists residents in dining room at meals.
• Initiates and participates in leisure activities per activity calendar.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly environment for all residents.
• Performs daily housekeeping duties.
• Ensures HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
• Communicates effectively with residents, families, visitors, and associates.
• Assists in mentoring new employees and training.
