Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and communicate effectively.
• HIPAA knowledge or training preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, grooming, hygiene, and meals.
• Provide companionship and empathy to residents, families, and visitors.
• Observe and report changes in residents' health or wellbeing to supervisor.
• Serve and assist in dining room during meals and support activity calendars.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and dignified environment for residents and staff.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry as needed.
