Job summary

Meridian Senior Living in Woodmere, NY is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to keep resident areas clean, sanitary, and inviting. You will work with a team to ensure safety and comfort for residents, following established procedures and supervisor directions.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of related experience, a compassionate attitude toward the elderly, and the ability to read and follow written directions.

Qualifications

• One-year related experience in a similar environment with on-the-job training preferred.
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Must be able to read, write and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job.
• Must demonstrate the ability to work responsibly as a team member as well as an individual.
• Must meet all health requirements and pass background check.

• Maintain assigned areas in a clean, sanitary, safe, and attractive manner as directed by procedures and supervisor.
• Assist residents and work with team members in a courteous and professional manner.
