Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Attendant/ CNA in California to assist older adults with daily living activities, mobility, meals, and transportation to appointments. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to monitor health and ensure comfort in participants’ homes or centers.

The role requires CNA or HHA background, CPR/First Aid, and a valid CA driver’s license. Flexibility and strong communication are essential for coordinating with families and providers.

Qualifications

• Experience as PCA or CNA with frail or elderly individuals.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days.
• Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Flexibility to provide care in participants' homes as needed.

Responsibilities

• Help participants with bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, laundry, and meals.
• Assist in getting in/out of transportation vehicles and accompany to appointments.
• Monitor vital signs and participant well‑being as directed by the care team.
• Communicate with participants, families, and outside providers.
• Provide flexible support wherever needed and support SCAN’s vision and goals.
