Placements24 is seeking an Elderly Care Assistant to provide in-home support to seniors in Paarl, Western Cape. You will assist with daily living activities, offer companionship, and ensure safety and comfort in clients' homes.

Qualifications

• Experience in elderly care or healthcare setting preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting) with dignity.
• Meal preparation, hydration, and nutrition support.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in activities for mental/physical stimulation.
• Light housekeeping, laundry, and medication reminders.
• Monitor health and wellbeing, report changes to supervisor/family.
• Accompany clients to medical appointments or outings, ensuring safety.
