The successful candidate will assist with daily living activities, monitor health, and provide companionship within a respectful care setting. Prior caregiving experience and empathy are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a caregiver or healthcare assistant, preferably with elderly clients.
• Certification in healthcare assistance or a related field is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of the needs and challenges faced by the elderly.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to perform physical aspects of resident care.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Help residents with mobility, including transferring and walking, using appropriate aids.
• Serve meals and assist with feeding as required.
• Monitor residents' health status, including vital signs, and report any changes to nursing staff.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for residents.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team.
• Adhere to all care plans, safety protocols, and facility policies.
