Job summary

Friendship Village Retirement Community is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Provider to assist residents with daily activities and medications. You will help with bathing, toileting, dressing, and daily living tasks while ensuring dignity and comfort for each resident.

The role emphasizes creating meaningful connections and reliable attendance. The position requires staying flexible for weekends and holidays, passing a medication manager course within three months, and completing required

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Every other weekend and holiday availability.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to pass medication manager course within first 3 months of employment.
• Applicants are required to pass pre-employment screenings that could include: Criminal background checks, Abuse registry check, Drug test, Physical, and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and assistance to residents, including bathing, toileting, showering, dressing, cleaning accidents and managing medications.
• Build friendships with residents and be a reliable, dedicated member of the care team.
• Be open and honest at all times and willing to work assigned shifts regardless of weather.
