Job summary

Independent Beginnings LLC is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to provide compassionate in-home care for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities. You will assist with daily activities, personal care, and meal preparation, while coordinating with a supportive team and family members to promote independence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; DODD waiver may apply.
• CPR/First Aid certification required or provided after hire.
• Medication Administration training provided if not certified.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily activities including personal care, housekeeping and meal prep.
• Collaborate with co-workers, clients’ families and medical professionals to promote independence.
• Transport clients to appointments and accompany them to medical visits as needed.
