Abound Health in Monroe, NC is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD. The role involves assisting with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support to help clients live independently.

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving or direct support preferred.
• Ability to pass background and health checks.
• Willingness to complete paid training.
• 18+ years old and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support to help individuals build independence.
• Assist with daily living activities and meal preparation.
• Support community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and communication.
• Monitor health and safety and maintain a supportive environment.
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
