Job summary

Creed Medical Group in Ellicott City, MD is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities with daily living activities, promoting independence and community involvement. You will implement individualized care plans, document progress, and collaborate with families and health professionals in a supportive team environment.

A high school diploma and reliable transportation are expected; CPR/First Aid certification

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in direct care is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
CPR/First Aid certification preferred or ability to obtain after hire

Responsibilities

Assist individuals with personal care tasks, meal preparation, and household duties.
Support clients in accessing community resources and participating in social activities.
Implement individualized care plans, documenting progress and reporting any changes.
Provide emotional support and encouragement, building trusting relationships.
Maintain safety standards and a clean living environment for clients.
Collaborate with families and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
