Job summary

Abound Health is seeking Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with IDD in Williamsport and surrounding areas. As a DSP, you will help people live more independently, participate in their communities, and build life skills.

Starting pay is $17-$25/hour, with a $1,000 signing bonus paid in installments when averaging 20+ hours per week. We offer paid onboarding and training, flexible schedules, weekly pay, and opportunities for growth within a mission‑driven team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to assist with personal-care needs when needed.

Responsibilities

• Build positive, supportive relationships with individuals.
• Assist with daily living activities (meal prep, hygiene, household tasks).
• Support participation in community activities, employment, and social engagement.
• Encourage independence and new skill development.
• Support communication and use of adaptive tools.
• Promote health, safety, and emotional well-being.
• Communicate with families and team members.
