Job summary

Lighthouse at Chico Assisted Living in Chico, CA is seeking a compassionate Driver to transport residents safely and provide friendly, reliable service.

You will follow schedules, communicate with the Transportation Scheduler, assist residents, report vehicle maintenance needs, and support facility staff when scheduling allows. This on-site role offers a supportive team and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Valid US driver’s license and a CDL for Class C.
• Physically able to assist mild to moderately disabled individuals.
• Ability to lift at least 30 pounds and push up to 185 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Follow schedules and communicate with the Transportation Scheduler regarding all aspects of clients’ transportation
• Assist clients in a prompt, helpful, courteous and compassionate manner
• Assist the Transportation Scheduler with changes and pertinent information about clients
• Communicate any vehicle maintenance needs to the Transportation Scheduler
• Assist facility staff with client support as needed or whenever scheduling permits
