Job summary

CareSpot LLC is seeking a Driver for Transportation Services in Phoenix, AZ. You will safely transport adult DTA members to program sites, appointments, and community activities, with emphasis on safety, documentation, and patient assistance.

The role requires a valid Arizona driver's license, clean MVR, CPR/First Aid certifications, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with reliable schedule Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Must have age 21+, valid Arizona driver's license and a clean MVR (3 years).
• Ability to secure and maintain a LevelI Fingerprint Clearance Card and pass background checks.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications, and training in Article9 and abuse/neglect prevention.
• Experience with safe driving, passenger assistance, time management, and defensive driving.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including patience and ability to support individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Able to lift at least 50 lbs and assist individuals with mobility needs.

Responsibilities

• Operate passenger vans and wheelchair-accessible vehicles in accordance with AZ traffic laws and policies.
• Provide door-to-door/curb-to-curb assistance; secure boarding/disembarking with wheelchairs as needed.
• Plan efficient routes to ensure punctual pick-ups and drops-offs; adjust for schedule changes.
• Monitor passenger safety and behavior; maintain supervision per required ratios.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, safety, fueling, inspections, and mileage logs.
• Document trip logs, incident reports, and transportation records promptly.
• Report delays or accidents and follow up with written documentation as required.
• Maintain HIPAA and DDD confidentiality; communicate professionally with members and guardians.
• Follow state and federal driving laws; attend mandatory training such as CPR/First Aid, Article 9, and Behavioral Support.
