Job summary

Carepool is hiring contract drivers in Council Bluffs, IA, to support transportation for people with disabilities. Drivers can earn a minimum of $22/hour on paid projects and up to $45/hour on a consistent basis, with flexibility to fit mornings, afternoons, and early evenings.

Drivers use their own vehicle and provide rides for appointments and on-demand discharges, helping people get home safely from the hospital and integrate into daily life.

Qualifications

• Must have keen ability to read people and solve problems.
• Excellent driving record (no major infractions)
• Healthcare experience and 1 year of professional driving preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide scheduled rides for appointments and on-demand discharges to get people home from hospitals.
• Drive people with disabilities to work, activity centers, and daily activities.
• Maintain safe, reliable transport and communicate with riders as needed.
