Job summary

Carepool in Council Bluffs, IA is hiring contract drivers to provide transportation for people with disabilities. You’ll use your own vehicle and work on a flexible part-time schedule for mornings, afternoons and early evenings, on paid projects.

Earn $22 per hour minimum on paid projects and up to $45 per hour on a consistent basis, with meaningful work helping riders get to appointments, work, and activities, while maintaining a safe, clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Excellent personality with the ability to read people and solve problems.
• Must have a 100% clean driving record (minor tickets allowed every 2–3 years).
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Healthcare experience or exposure to people with disabilities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide schedule rides for appointments and on-demand discharges to get people home safely.
• Work part-time on mornings, afternoons and early evenings.
• Drive people with disabilities to work and activity centers, helping them integrate into daily life.
