Job summary

Genesis Health Clubs is seeking a Direct Support Professional I in Minden, Louisiana. This full-time position involves ensuring a safe, healthy environment for individuals with disabilities while implementing their care plans and providing personal assistance.

The ideal candidate will have experience in caregiving and must demonstrate effective communication skills, as well as the ability to assist individuals in daily activities and manage medication as per state guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must effectively read, write, and communicate verbally in English.
• Prior experience as a direct support worker or similar role is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old (non-driver) or 21 years (driver).

Responsibilities

• Ensure the health and welfare of individuals served.
• Assist with medication and treatment plans.
• Provide daily living assistance and personal care.
