Job summary

Journey Found is seeking a Direct Support Specialist in Connecticut to assist individuals in group homes with daily living activities, transportation, and community outings. The role emphasizes compassionate, patient care and teamwork within a supportive environment.

You will participate in medication administration training (MAP) and be part of a collaborative care team. Full-time employment includes a comprehensive benefits package and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a High School Diploma or its equivalent.
• Must have at least 3 years driving experience with a valid driver’s license.
• Behavioral Management Experience and/or formal training.
• Ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, is required.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with activities of daily living and daily routines.
• Transport individuals to appointments and activities.
• Document program data and communicate with clinical staff.
