Job summary

ICM Inc in the United States is seeking compassionate care staff to assist customers with daily living activities, including bathing, meals, dressing, grooming, and medication support. You will also help with appointments and transportation, acting as a gentle companion to promote independence.

The role emphasizes safety, clear communication, and collaboration with the team to improve quality of life and community integration for clients, while adhering to HIPAA and company policies.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (some positions require additional education).
• Understands and complies with HIPAA regulations.
• Maintains prompt and regular attendance.

Responsibilities

• Providing quality care, direction, guidance, and help to customers with daily activities, such as bathing and bathroomfunctions, feeding, planning menus, dressing, grooming, taking medication and/or administering treatments, and housework.
• Help customers make and keep appointments, provide or arrange transportation to run errands and serve as a companion
• Help customer achieve agreed-upon goals to improve quality of life and integration into the community
• Provide written daily updates of each shift’s activities using an online platform
• Observe the customer’s condition and monitor the surroundings to ensure customer safety and success. This includes monitoring of equipment and materials
