Job summary

Sevita's REM Community Services in Wisconsin seeks a compassionate caregiver to support individuals with developmental disabilities. Earn an hourly wage of $17.50 while joining a mission-driven team that helps people live well.

You’ll assist with personal care, help participants meet goals, and participate in community activities. Sevita offers a full benefits package for full-time staff, PTO, holiday pay, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Strong communication, adaptability and teamwork skills.
• Must have reliable transportation or vehicle access.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Support participants in achieving developmental goals (budgeting, exercise, nutrition).
• Help participants participate in community activities and social events.
• Develop real, meaningful relationships with participants and provide care coordination as needed.
• Follow plans set by supervisors and care teams to ensure participant well-being.
