Job summary

Wall Residences is seeking part-time Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for our Supported Living and In-Home Care services in the Lynchburg, Madison Heights, Amherst, Concord, Bedford, and Forest areas. The DSP role focuses on assisting individuals with everyday tasks, transportation, and advocacy to promote independence.

Responsibilities include helping with laundry, cleaning, meal planning, cooking, organizing, and coordinating volunteer activities.

Qualifications

• Must be flexible to work evenings or weekends.
• Hiring dependent on references and criminal background check free of barrier crimes.
• Active driver’s license with acceptable driving record that meets: minimum 3 years driving, no more than 2 moving violations or accidents in past 3 years, no major violations in past 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with domestic tasks such as laundry, cleaning, meal planning, cooking, and organizing.
• Provide transportation and advocate for medical/dental appointments; assist with medication administration.
