Almost Family is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Oregon, with part-time hours to start and potential for full-time growth. Location options include Bend, Redmond, Terrebonne, Sisters, and nearby towns; pay is $22–$24 per hour, paid biweekly, with flexible schedules.

The role involves assisting with ADLs, providing transportation, and supporting clients in community activities. A compassionate, team-oriented individual with reliable transportation is essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ year supporting someone with I/DD (professional or personal)
• 18+ years old
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle
• Able to pass a criminal background check
• CPR/First Aid Certification (or obtain after hire)
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working in diverse home environments
• Team player who can also work independently
• Shift flexibility including days, evenings, weekends, and overnights

Responsabilités

• Provide attendant care, relief care, DSA, and help clients engage in community activities
• Support Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) — physical, emotional, behavioral, and communication needs
• Provide transportation for medical appointments, errands, and community outings
• Assist with household tasks and home management
• Encourage and model life skills and independence
• Promote positive self-esteem and build meaningful relationships
• Follow individual care plans and maintain documentation
