Job summary

Journey Services LLC is seeking caring providers to join our growing team as direct support professionals working with individuals with disabilities and the elderly in homes and the community. Part-time hours, mainly afternoons, evenings and weekends, with a $17.00–$18.00/hour pay range.

Responsibilities include promoting independence, assisting with daily living skills, safety, and transportation to activities. Prior caregiving experience is preferred, but training is offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Obtain a Class-1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Obtain certification in CPR, First Aid and Article 9.
• Reliable Transportation with proof of Arizona Driver's License, Vehicle Registration & Insurance.
• Ability to transport members in own vehicle as needed.

Responsibilities

• Encourage independence and self-advocacy.
• Assist the individual with personal goals such as communication and daily living skills.
• Provide a positive and safe environment for learning and fun.
• Engage in games and activities in home or community settings.
• Transport individuals to community outings and events.
