Royal Community Support – Hackensack Branch is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist an individual living in Newton, Sussex County, NJ. This community-based role supports daily living in the home and in the community.

The DSP will work Monday to Friday, 4:00pm–8:00pm, 20 hours per week, providing personal care, transportation, and participation in activities. Starting pay is $22–$28 per hour, with eligibility-based benefits and a focus on dignity and independence.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record and reliable personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with daily living activities and personal care.
• Providing transportation to appointments and community activities.
• Encouraging participation in social and recreational activities.
• Following individualized service plans and behavior support strategies.
• Maintaining professional communication with guardians and agency staff.
• Supporting safe, structured participation in community activities.
