Job summary

Access Services, Inc. seeks compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals to join our Group Home team in Coopersburg, PA. This full-time role offers a 40-hour week with a Tuesday-Saturday schedule (first shift 7AM-3PM).

You will support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in homes and community settings. Responsibilities include hands-on care, daily engagement, ISP progress, and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Ability to demonstrate effective use of habilitation principles.
• Experience with behavior management and program planning.
• Ability to document observations clearly and succinctly.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with individuals with special needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality personal care including grooming and health care.
• Communicate medical concerns and daily progress in writing.
• Promote activities and community engagement for residents.
• Perform household tasks and shopping, meal planning, cleaning and laundry.
• Work with clients on ISP outcomes and progress.
