Job summary

Renew Residential Services LLC seeks a compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide quality care at clients' homes and in the community. You will assist with daily living, safety, and dignity, delivering person-centered support to individuals with developmental, aging, or health needs.

This essential role helps residents live as independently as possible with supportive care. This position offers meaningful work, flexible scheduling, paid orientation and training, and opportunities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pass background checks and required screenings.
• Experience in group homes, assisted living, nursing homes, or home-based care preferred.
• CPR/First Aid preferred; HIPAA training a plus.
• Ability to lift heavy objects safely with equipment and maintain stamina for long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with eating; maintain dining area cleanliness.
• Support client mobility and safe transfers as needed.
• Implement individualized care and behavior support plans.
• Administer medications per policy and training.
• Document client progress with detailed notes.
• Communicate professionally with supervisors, families, and providers.
• Respond to emergencies and safety concerns.
