Job summary

Milestone is seeking a Server to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our senior residents in a welcoming community. You will ensure high-quality service during meals, maintain a clean dining area, and support a team that fosters a positive atmosphere for residents and their families.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, ServSafe certification, and a genuine desire to work with the elderly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in food service preferred.
• Current ServSafe Certification required.
• Ability to obtain/hold local food handling licenses as required.
• Must be 18 years or older and pass health screenings and background checks.
• First Aid certification required.
• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Pleasant, professional, and personable demeanor.
• Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service and ensure residents’ dining preferences and dietary needs are met.
• Circulate in the dining room to assess satisfaction and address concerns promptly.
• Maintain dining areas, including tables, chairs, linens, and equipment.
• Follow safe work practices and support team compliance with Safety Committee standards.
• Assist coworkers beyond assigned duties to ensure smooth service and a positive team environment.
• Report any elder maltreatment or abuse in accordance with policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
