A senior living care organization in Arlington Heights seeks dynamic Waitstaff to provide excellent service to residents and guests, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Responsibilities include serving food and beverages accurately, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to dietary needs. Strong communication skills and proficiency with tablets are required. Responsabilités

• Complete assigned tasks before, during, and after dining room operations.
• Serve food and beverages in the proper sequence.
• Utilize a tablet for order taking with accuracy.
• Maintain tables’ cleanliness and promptly remove soiled dishes.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

Connaissances

Ability to read, write, and understand English

Proficient in using a tablet for order taking

Knowledge of meals offered and modified diets

Strong communication skills

Key Responsibilities

• Complete assigned tasks before, during, and after dining room operations, including menu review and side jobs.
• Serve food and beverages in the proper sequence.
• Utilize a tablet for order taking with accuracy.
• Maintain knowledge of meals offered and adhere to dietary modifications as needed.
• Keep tables neat and clean, promptly removing soiled dishes and resetting tables uniformly.
• Work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors, addressing any complaints or unsafe conditions.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• 0-2 years of serving/waitstaff experience
• Serve Safe Food handlers preferred, but not required.
