Job summary

Cogir Senior Living in the United States is hiring a Server to join a bright and welcoming dining room. You will support dining room setup, serve meals in a professional and courteous manner, and help with tray delivery and cleanup while residents and guests enjoy memorable moments.

Preference given to those with food service experience and comfort working with seniors; strong customer service, physical stamina, and ability to lift items are valued as part of a caring team that upholds safety

Qualifications

• Preference given to individuals with experience in the food service industry and working with seniors
• Demonstrates excellent customer service skills
• Must be physically able to lift and transfer heavy, hot items and stand/walk for the majority of shift
• Proficiency in a second language is an asset

Responsibilities

• To serve meals to residents and guests in a professional and courteous manner
• To set and clear dining tables and deliver tray service as required
• To assist with cleaning of dishware and kitchen/ dining area after each service
• To maintain dining room cleanliness and assist with kitchen area as required
• To assist with catering and participate in special occasions and theme events
• To assist in orientation and training of new culinary staff
