Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Dining Server to provide timely, professional meal service in a senior living community. You will create a warm dining experience for residents and guests, assisting with menu selections and delivering meals with accuracy.

This role emphasizes hospitality, teamwork, and adherence to clear service standards. Responsibilities include delivering orders, bussing and resetting tables, maintaining a clean dining area, and supporting pre-meal briefings and system use

Responsibilities

• Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
• Assist residents with menu selections and provide general menu descriptions
• Bus and reset tables per community standards
• Maintain a clean, organized dining room and bistro
• Complete assigned side work and opening/closing duties
• Attend pre-meal meetings to review menu offerings
• Use Sunrise systems for accurate order entry and meal delivery
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards
• You help cultivate a hospitable environment by building positive connections and delivering excellent service every shift
