Job summary

Frederick Living is hiring a Server to provide a welcoming dining experience for residents and guests. You will support meal service, uphold dining room standards, and maintain a safe, clean environment while delivering customer-focused service.

The role requires at least a 16-year-old applicant with no prior experience necessary and strong verbal communication skills. The position offers full-time hours, with a 10:30am–7:00pm shift and alternating weekend/holiday rotations, plus benefits.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent preferred
• No prior experience required
• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Excellent verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail and organizational ability

Responsibilities

• Create an enjoyable dining experience for residents and guests
• Follow established service style, sequence, and order in dining rooms and at events
• Complete assigned pre-service and post-service side work
• Follow all safety and sanitation rules and procedures
• Maintain strong communication with residents and coworkers
• Work collaboratively with the dining team
• Report issues to the Supervisor or Manager
• Adhere to appearance and work standards
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment
• Demonstrate knowledge of fire safety procedures
• Assist with evacuations in emergencies as needed
• Protect resident confidentiality
• Coordinate with other departments to support operations
• Adhere to the organization\'s code of conduct
• Perform other duties as assigned
