Job summary
Fairhaven Christian Retirement Center in Rockford, IL is seeking reliable and compassionate Wait Staff to support our Dining Services team. You will serve meals, maintain a clean and safe dining environment, and assist with dishwashing and food service tasks for our senior residents.

Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform physical tasks during a shift.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow directions.
- Friendly communication with residents and coworkers.
- Comfortable working in a Christian retirement community.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Serve meals to residents and guests.
- Follow dietary requirements when serving food.
- Set up, deliver, and collect meal trays.
- Set and clear dining room tables.
- Wash dishes and clean kitchen and dining equipment.
- Clean tables, chairs, and dining room floors after meals.
- Complete daily cleaning checklists.
- Protect resident privacy and follow HIPAA regulations.
- Build positive relationships with residents and coworkers.
- Follow sanitation, infection control, and safety procedures.
- Report concerns involving resident safety, abuse, neglect, or rights.
