The Gardens of Pamlico is a senior care facility in North Carolina seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to join our culinary team. You will assist in preparing, portioning, and serving nutritious meals to residents while maintaining a clean kitchen and dining area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Previous experience in a food service role (preferred, but not required)
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to follow directions and work efficiently as part of a team
• Compassion for and a desire to work with the elderly
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Meal assistance to residents by preparing, portioning, and serving meals per dietary plans and requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in kitchen and dining areas; wash dishes and utensils as needed.
• Provide meal assistance and ensure positive dining experiences for residents.
• Follow all food safety protocols including storage, handling, and sanitation.
