Job summary

Meridian Senior Living in Sidney, OH is hiring a Dietary Aide to support our dining services team. You will set tables, bussing, wash dishes, assist the cook, and ensure excellent service to residents and guests.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, compassion for the elderly, and the ability to work well both independently and in a team. Prior food service experience is preferred and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess all required licenses and/or certifications if required by State licensing authority and maintain continuing education requirements.
• Six (6) months’ prior experience in a food service department preferred.
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Must demonstrate the ability to work responsibly as a team member as well as an individual.

Responsibilities

• Set tables, bussing tables, washing dishes, assisting the cook as needed, completing cleaning duties and providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
• Work closely with our dining services team.
