Job summary

Brunswick Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Food Service Worker to prepare meals per resident diet specifications in a skilled nursing setting. You will support food prep and service while maintaining clean dining and kitchen areas under the direction of the Food Service Director.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, knowledge of food safety, and state-trained food handler requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent is required.
• We can provide guidance and resources to help you earn your GED.
• Must possess a working knowledge of the fundamentals of food safety and sanitation.
• Must meet and remain current with state specific requirements for food handler training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, procedures, and sanitation regulations.
• Assist in food preparation and service while maintaining clean and sanitary kitchen and dining areas.
• Follow health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintain established standards.
