St. Joseph Residence is a not-for-profit Catholic organization seeking a caring, compassionate, and responsible community member to join our dietary team as a dietary aide providing food services to our skilled nursing and assisted living community residents.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Availability to work every other weekend and alternating holiday schedule.
• Reliability: punctual, good attendance, and strong work ethic.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a positive team.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and serving food so quality, temperature and food appearance are preserved.
• Take resident meal orders.
• Serve resident meals following personal choices and special diet orders.
• Set and clear dining tables.
• Assist with meal or ingredient preparation for the next shift or for other meals for the week.
• Maintain safe and sanitary conditions in the kitchen and dining room following food safety guidelines.
