Job summary

Fountain View in Silverton, OH is seeking a dependable Dietary Aide to join our dining services team. The role supports resident satisfaction by assisting with meal service, meal preparation, and maintaining a clean, safe dining environment.

Responsibilities include tray assembly, serving meals in dining room or resident rooms, proper portioning, sanitation, and teamwork with the dietary and interdisciplinary staff. No degree required; ServSafe preferred; English communication required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and tray assembly.
• Serve meals to residents in the dining room and/or rooms.
• Ensure proper portioning and presentation of food items.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dining areas, and equipment.
• Follow sanitation, infection control, and food safety guidelines.
• Assist with dishwashing and cleanup after meals.
• Communicate respectfully with residents and team members.
