Yona Solutions in Lancaster, OH is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to join our team. You will set up dining areas, assist in meal preparation, deliver trays, and help maintain a clean, well-stocked dining environment for residents and visitors.

Qualifications

• Must have proven experience as a dietary aide.
• Customer service experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Ability to operate cookware, bakeware and cooking appliances.
• Friendly with good communication skills.
• Good physical condition and stamina.
• High school diploma or equivalent; food service certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up dining areas with cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under supervision of a dietary manager or cook.
• Deliver dishes and trays to designated rooms and times.
• Take down dining areas and collect plates and utensils.
• Discard leftovers and take out garbage.
• Clean food stations, wash dishes and cookware.
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory.
• Assist in tracking expenses and menu planning.
• Maintain kitchen equipment and appliances.
