Cedar Crest at North Florida (2) is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide in Gainesville, FL. You will help prepare meals, set up dining areas, deliver trays, and maintain sanitary kitchen and dining spaces under supervision.

Ideal candidates have proven dietary aide experience, strong customer service, and knowledge of safety guidelines. A high school diploma is required; food service certification is a plus. Background check is required to join our team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a dietary aide.
• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Ability to operate cookware, bakeware and cooking appliances.
• Friendly with good communication skills.
• Good physical condition and stamina.
• High school diploma or equivalent; food service certification is a plus.
• Criminal background check is required.

Responsibilities

• Set up dining areas with cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under supervision of dietary manager or cook.
• Deliver dishes and trays at designated times and rooms.
• Clear dining areas and collect dishes and utensils.
• Discard leftovers and take out garbage.
• Clean food stations and wash dishes and utensils.
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory.
• Assist with expenses tracking and menu planning.
• Help maintain kitchen equipment and appliances.
