Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health in Needham, MA is seeking a Dietary Aide to support the Food & Nutrition team. You will assist in preparing cold foods for patient lines and traveling meals, deliver nourishment carts, and maintain high sanitation standards across the department.

Under the direction of the Chef/General Manager, you will follow HACCP guidelines, assist with tray line operations, and help stock and store supplies. Basic computer skills and good English communication are required.

Qualifications

• Some High School required.
• 0-1 years related work experience required.
• Previous experience as dietary aide in healthcare setting preferred
• Basic familiarity with computers.

Responsibilities

• Prepares/portions cold food for tray line and traveling meals.
• Delivers and retrieves food carts/trays from patient units following infection control guidelines.
• Washes pots, pans and utensils according to departmental guidelines.
• Maintains cleanliness of assigned work area and performs cleaning activities.
