Job summary

Alliance Health at Maples in Wrentham, MA is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to assist in preparing and serving nutritious meals for residents. You will deliver dishes, maintain sanitary cooking and dining areas, and follow safety guidelines under the supervision of a dietary manager or cook.

The ideal candidate is motivated to learn, communicates well, and shows a customer‑oriented approach. Must be COVID-19 vaccinated including booster.

Qualifications

• Previous dietary aide experience preferred; training available.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Ability to follow instructions and prepare meals per standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up dining areas with cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under supervision of dietary manager or cook.
• Deliver dishes and trays at designated times and rooms.
• Take down dining areas and collect plates and utensils.
• Discard leftovers and take out garbage.
• Clean food stations and wash dishes and cookware.
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory.
• Assist in tracking expenses and menu planning.
• Help maintain kitchen equipment and appliances.
