Allure of Moline is seeking a Part time 2nd shift Dietary Aide to assist with food service, meal preparation, and dining room duties at our Moline, IL location. The role involves following planned menus, preparing snacks, and delivering meals to residents with attention to sanitation standards.

Candidates should be able to read, write, and communicate in English, maintain cleanliness and safety, and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must maintain the care & use of supplies, equipment, the appearance of work areas, and perform regular inspections of food service areas for sanitation, order, safety and proper performance of assigned duties.
• Must possess patience, tact, cheerful disposition & enthusiasm, and be willing to handle residents appropriately.
• Must be willing to incorporate new methods and principles into existing food practices.
• Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Review, prepare & serve meals in accordance with planned menus with standardized recipes & special diet orders.
• Ensure department is clean and safe, with maintained equipment & supplies, following Infection Control Precautions.
• Perform dishwashing/cleaning procedures to keep utensils available for next meal.
• Prepare & deliver snacks, deliver food carts and trays, and assist with dining room service and kitchen/dishroom cleaning.
