Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long‑term care facility. You will support dining services while ensuring quality, safety, and a positive resident experience.

The position values teamwork, clear communication, and adherence to food safety guidelines; a high school diploma is preferred, with ServSafe or Food Handler certification required by state law where applicable, and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• COVID-19 vaccination compliance required.
• ServSafe or Food Handler certification required based on state laws.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
