Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will assist with prep, follow dietary guidelines, and maintain clean kitchen areas while delivering excellent customer service.

The role includes benefits such as telemedicine, prescription discounts, and career development, with a starting pay rate of USD 15.00 per hour. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or kitchen environment preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, staff, and guests.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Lift up to 30 pounds, push up to 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Perform routine, repetitive tasks and work around food and cleaning products.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification is required by state/county law.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
