Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will support dietary needs, portion control, and friendly resident interactions.

Starting pay is USD 14.75 per hour. The role includes hands-on training, adherence to safety standards, and teamwork with kitchen and caregiving staff to ensure quality dining experiences. Candidates should be prepared to lift up to 30 pounds and comply with health guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate with occupants and leadership.
• COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds, and stand for extended periods.
• Must work around food and cleaning products.
• ServSafe or Food Handler certification required by state/county law.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
