Job summary

Oak Park Place is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals to residents, following dietary requirements and safety standards. You will help set up dining areas, deliver meals, and assist with cleaning and sanitation, ensuring a pleasant dining experience for residents.

You will collaborate with Dietitians and Nurses to monitor resident intake, manage inventory, and support a compassionate team dedicated to quality care.

Qualifications

• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
• Previous experience working with the elderly preferred.
• Previous experience in a dietary position preferred.
• Ability to work cooperatively as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Serving residents' meals according to instructions
• Using proper food handling techniques in plating and serving meals
• Cleaning and sanitizing the dining area
• Stocking the food storage areas and refrigerators
• Clean, wash, and sanitize dishes, silverware, and utensils
