Job summary

Pavilion at Piketon Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate Dietary Aide in Piketon, OH. You will support all food functions under policies and with the facility's Dietitian/Director of Food Services to ensure residents receive high-quality meals.

The role involves serving meals, preparing snacks, proper portion control, and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment. A high school diploma and background check clearance are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to successfully pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Dietitian/Director of Food Services to implement recommended changes.
• Assist with service and delivery of meals and cleaning of the kitchen according to established policies.
• Prepare and deliver snacks as directed.
• Serve meals with proper portion control and appealing presentation.
• Perform daily cleaning duties and maintain clean, hazard-free work areas.
• Set up meal trays, carts and dining areas; distribute menus.
• Carry out garbage removal and keep the work area tidy.
• Other duties as assigned.
