Job summary

Healthcare Services Group is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will assist with food prep, ensure dietary needs are met, and provide friendly resident-centered service in a supportive team environment.

Role requires basic education and possibly ServSafe/food handler certification, with physical ability to lift up to 30 lb and stand for extended periods. Competitive pay starts at $18.00–$19.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Food service/kitchen experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Maintain positive attitude and communicate with occupants, staff, and leadership.
• COVID-19 vaccination policies compliance.
• Lift up to 30 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds; stand and move for extended periods.
• Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks and work around food and cleaning products.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification required per state/county law.
• Residency within the service area.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portions.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
