Job summary

Regency Integrated Health Services is seeking a Dietary Aide at Windsor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Weslaco. The role involves preparing and serving meals to residents, with cleanup of the dining area after each service, under the guidance of the Certified Dietary Manager.

Responsibilities include assisting with food preparation, beverage service, tray setup, stocking, bussing, dishwashing, and maintaining sanitary kitchen and dining areas in compliance with state guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must have Texas Food Handler Certificate.
• Experience in a commercial kitchen is preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Dietary Aide follows the direction of the Certified Dietary Manager and state guidelines to ensure that food is properly prepared, served to residents, and after meals are completed cleanup of the dining hall and dishes.
• Assist with food prep and cooking following universal precautions and state/federal regulations.
• Preparing and serving beverages.
• Setting up and passing trays for meal service.
• Stocking snack cart.
• Bussing of tables and trays.
• Cleaning the kitchen work area.
• Dishwashing.
• Follow proper handwashing guidelines.
