• Serve meals to patients/residents/staff according to correct procedures.
• Collect and display foods and beverages for serving.
• Handle, store, and provide food following safe practices to prevent illness.
• Follow HACCP procedures.
• Prepare food per menus/recipes; assist with special functions.
• Set up meal trays and dining areas for patient meals.
• Assist Cook in meal preparation as directed.
• Distribute and collect menus per policy.
• Deliver food carts/trays to designated areas.
• Remove soiled trays; perform dishwashing/cleaning as directed.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and supplies.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and infection control practices.
• Assist with daily cleaning duties per policies.
• Receive/respond to communications; work with clinical staff as needed.
• Ensure policies are followed; maintain good rapport with staff/residents.
• Create positive atmosphere and maintain professional behavior.
• Participate in departmental projects and training.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient/resident information.
• Identify customer requirements and gather feedback.
• Perform other related duties; report to shift supervisor.
